trx and yoga

trx®- “a gym in a bag” was developed by the navy seals to stay fit and strong anywhere. just like traditional yoga props, the trx® both supports and challenges many yoga poses, helping you deepen the stretch while working your entire body.

learn how trx ® strengthens your shoulders, core, and thighs while using the straps not only to support optimal alignment while in traditional poses but also tackle some poses that may seem daunting in a traditional class.

vinyasa flow (heated)

vinyasa yoga (heated): the word vinyasa translates "to place in a special way."

in a yoga class, this translates into a gradual progression from one movement into another, linking breath with movement. this attention brings us an inward focus, calming the mind while we move the body.

join us as we move and flow through poses that will build fire, strength, and relaxation. The room is heated using infrared technology.

yoga in the park

classes are appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners. modifications and adjustments are offered ensuring students advance at their own pace.

on the monday and wednesday closest to the full moon, class will be June’s “Dark Side of the Moon” practice, an all-levels class to the music of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon.” the flow is usually taught during a full moon, and is based on two different versions of moon salutations, making it a little more meditative than a sun salutation-based practice. moon poses, such as half moon, also round out the practice. These elements are the stable core of the practice, and a common theme throughout is the luminous lightness of the moon.

this class will take place at the amphitheater located in the Park at 4th in the borough of Quakertown. BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat
