the whole of chapman house is ours. every room has a king or queen bed, frette linens, air conditioning, and a private ensuite bath with a rainfall shower. choose solo or double occupancy, and how long you stay.

where is the retreat located?
chapman house, at 20 north water street on nantucket, a historic inn two blocks from downtown and the harbor.
is travel insurance required?
we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance in case of any unexpected changes to your plans.
what can i do during free time?
you are a few minutes from town, the shops, and the harbor. walk to children's beach or jetties beach (the inn provides beach chairs and towels), rent a bike, or relax on the garden patio.
are meals included?
continental breakfast is served each morning at the veranda house next door, and two group dinners are included. other lunches and dinners are on your own so you can explore the island.
what should i pack?
we provide props, towels, and linens. please bring your own yoga mat, along with comfortable clothes, a water bottle, a journal, a warm layer for cool island evenings, and good shoes for walking.
is this retreat suitable for beginners?
absolutely. the retreat is open to all levels, and classes will offer modifications and support for those new to yoga as well as options for those with more experience.
what are the accommodations like?
you will stay at chapman house, fifteen rooms with king or queen beds, frette linens, and private ensuite baths with rainfall showers, plus a shared garden patio. the whole inn is ours for the retreat.
is there wi-fi?
yes, wi-fi is available throughout the inn, though we encourage you to unplug and be present during the retreat.
what is the cancellation policy?
because planning a retreat like this is complex, our deposit is non-refundable. if you cancel more than 180 days before the retreat, 50% of what you have paid (excluding the deposit) can be applied to a future retreat. if you find someone to take your spot and they pay in full, you will receive a refund (minus the deposit). after the 180 day mark, all payments are non-refundable and replacements are not accepted. no refunds are given if you leave the retreat early. to cancel, email us at info@moondogyoga.com.
what does a typical day look like?
most mornings begin with a yoga practice, followed by breakfast at the inn and time to enjoy town, the beach, or a quiet walk. afternoons might include a second yoga session, journaling, or free time to unwind. across our days together we will head out for a private sunset cruise, a guided marsh tour by kayak or paddleboard, and group dinners. our schedule has structure but plenty of flexibility. you can join as much or as little as you like. a sample itinerary will be shared closer to the retreat.
