june began practicing yoga in 1996 while navigating the demands of a career-focused life. yoga quickly became an essential tool for balance, resilience, and nervous system regulation. after becoming a mother, her practice continued to support her through life’s transitions and deepened her desire to share yoga with others.
june has been teaching yoga since 2005 and holds e-ryt 500 certification through the himalayan institute. she is a certified vishoka meditation instructor, ayurvedic yoga specialist, ayurvedic health counselor, and 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher trainer. she currently leads the himalayan institute’s teacher training programs at moondog.
rooted in the belief that yoga is transformative and accessible, june has created a grounded, welcoming community where students are encouraged to find their own path. outside the studio, she values time with her family and enjoys sunshine, travel, and new experiences.
brenda eppley
Brenda was first introduced to yoga more than twenty five years ago and became serious about her practice while searching for relief from chronic back pain. The yogic tools and methodology that she learned placed her on a pain-free path of unexpected fulfillment.
With an abundance of positive energy, Brenda's dedication to educating students about the many benefits of yoga motivated the creation of the "Yoga Discovery Podcast." She is passionate about bringing new practitioners to the mat while cultivating a knowledgeable awareness that enhances the experienced students' evolving journey.
Teaching from an informed perspective, she believes that diving more deeply into the philosophies, traditions, and history of yoga has a transformative ability to shape our health and well-being in every respect.
When not on the mat or in the classroom, Brenda travels the world searching for adventures that will expand her understanding of our global community. gail frassetta
Gail began her yoga journey in 2010, taking her first class to balance out running and soccer. She practiced many styles but was particularly drawn to the challenge of Ashtanga. Gail soon realized there was so much more to learn and explore in yoga. In 2017, she traveled to India to pursue in-depth study of Hatha, Ashtanga, meditation, pranayama and yogic philosophy, earning her RYT200 and certification in Thai Yoga Stretch. The training in India created a desire to continue to learn more about yoga and the body. In 2019, Gail completed her RYT-500; in 2021, she completed an additional E-RYT-200 in Rocket Yoga, and is YACEP certified and in 2025 she added a 200 RYT in Hot 26/2. Gail’s yoga journey continues to follow different paths. She is currently interested in functional mobility.
