Join Nicole for this wonderfully blissful workshop as she guides you through the subtle body using the supportive practice of Restorative Yoga. We will work through the 7 main energetic points in the body called the Chakras by using a correlating posture that will help to bring our focus and energy to that space.
This practice will consist of a gentle sequence utilizing props to support and open the body promoting deep relaxation and healing. This is an all-levels practice designed to release blocked energy centers, calm the mind and gently open the body; leaving you feeling rested, refreshed, and peaceful. Open to all levels, beginners are welcome.
Restorative yoga is a therapeutic style that uses props to support the body, encouraging deep relaxation. Using passive yoga asanas we let our nervous systems shift and enjoy the benefit of true rest. Different from more active styles, we will concentrate on surrendering our weight to supports and softening into the stretches. This helps us to relieve the effects of negative stress encountered in daily life, and can be highly beneficial in times of fatigue, illness, and emotional strain.
